English Language Requirement
To qualify for an offer of placement at International Academy where you can complete the ITEC International Diploma of Beauty Specialist and Body Therapy, you will be required to present an official assessment of your English language skills.
Australian Year 12 English (or equivalent) - Sound Achievement rating;
Cambridge First Certificate of English - A or B grades;
Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English;
Successful completion of an acceptable formal course where the medium of instruction was English. This does not include English Language Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS).
Academic entry requirements: completed Year 12 or equivalent and Successful completion of Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy or non school-leavers are selected according to eligibility and merit, vocational experience, previous study and personal competencies and relevant experience in the Industry.
Remedial Assistance
The trainers are available to assist any student with learning problems, study skills and assignment planning. Students should contact the respective trainer and make direct arrangements or can speak to the Principal.
